QUICKSILVER
MESSENGER SERVICE EN MONTEREY “DINO'S SONG”

Dino Valenti creó el grupo  “Quicksilver
Messenger Service” en San Francisco a finales de 1965, pero cuando ya había
reclutado a la gente fue arrestado por posesión de drogas y pasó dos años bajo
sombra, pero el grupo siguió adelante y recién publicaron su primer disco
homónimo en 1968 donde este tema forma parte del mismo, pero lo más interesante
es que lo dieron a conocer un año antes, cuando aún no habían grabado material
alguno en el “Festival Internacional de Monterrey el 17 de junio de 1967, donde
dieron un show memorable y en una  filmación de antología que recién se pudo
apreciar cuando salieron los outtakes del festival, aparece en la guitarra Dave
Murray quien se retiró antes de editarse el disco, pero quienes se lucen en las
voces son Gary Duncan y Dave Freiberg con un gran Cipollina con su clásica  guitarra Gibson SG y el tema se llamó “Dino’s Song ((All I Ever Wanted to Do)
