TEACHER DE “JETHRO TULL”:

 

El tercer disco de la banda progresiva inglesa “Jethro Tull” liderada por el carismático Ian Anderson   se llamó  “Benefit” (algo así como beneficio o ventaja) y fue publicado primero en UK a través del sello “Chrysalis Records” un 20 de abril  de 1970 y un par de semanas después en USA por Island Records el primero de mayo de 1970 donde  el orden y  temas es distinta a la edición inglesa y donde dejan de lado la canción “Inside” e incluyen la canción “Teacher” que era el lado “B”  del single  "The Witch's Promise” ambos temas no  se incluyó en el disco original de UK.

 

Con la edición del  álbum doble “Living in the Past” de 1972 y  su disco de éxitos, “M.U The Best of Jethro Tull”  la canción “Teacher” con un  sonido más pop al que estaban acostumbrados, fue  compuesto así deliberadamente por Anderson  se ha vuelto uno de los temas más populares de Jethro Tull.

Who found fun instead of me.

Then the teacher told me

It had been a lot of fun.

Thanked me for his ticket

And all that I had done.
