LIVE “THROWING COPPER & LIGHTNING CRASHES”:

 

Un 26 de abril de 1994 el sello “MCA Records” publicó el segundo disco de la banda alternativa de USA “LIVE” liderada por el cantante y compositor “Ed Kowalczyk” llamado "Throwing Copper" (traducido como “Lanzando cobre”) que fue grabado en los  Pachyderm Recording Studio de Minnesota bajo la producción del ex Talking head Jerry Harrison entre los meses de julio a setiembre de 1993 y vendió millones de copias llegando al puesto número uno de las listas de su país.

 

El disco que ahora es un clásico tiene muy buenas canciones  como el single debut “I Alive”, la popular “Selling The Drama” entre otras canciones con interesantes letras y un sonido que los situaría  dentro de un tardío Grunge, pero el tema “Lightning Crashes” es una mención aparte, tiene una de las más hermosas y desgarradoras letras sobre la maternidad que son poesía dentro de un gran marco musical:

Pale blue colored iris,

Presents the circle
